Over the past couple of weeks there has been an increase in the number of children bringing yoyo bears to school as a snack. This is absolutely fine as it is a healthy snack for the children. However, I have noticed that children are also brining in packs of cards that they have collected from these snacks to trade with other children. This is causing significant disruption to the start of our lessons as well as the end of the day as children are trading cards with each other in the corridors during lesson time. Not only that but it is beginning to cause issues where children want to trade and then change their mind but the person they have traded with doesn’t want to trade back.
Mrs Goodchild has asked me to remind all children that due to the current circumstances children are not permitted to bring in any toys/cards etc. from home as they pose an infection risk. I have explained to the children that they should not be bringing in cards from home under any circumstances and that the cards they get in their snack are for them to take home if they are collecting them and are not to be traded with other children.
Thank you for your continued support.
