Nativity

I have now uploaded both the song and script for our scene in the Nativity to our google classroom if you are wanting to practise these at home.

Children should have now also brought home a letter regarding their costume. Please see below.

Dear Parents,

This year our Nativity will be filmed by a production company and will be available for you to watch, more details to follow.   In order to prepare for our Nativity, we would really appreciate it if you can help us with your child’s costume, please can you bring this to school by Wednesday 2nd December. This year your child will be a star. Please can you prepare a white t-shirt with silver or gold stars either ironed on or stuck on, e.g. safety pins, and dark bottoms.  Please can you put these in a plastic bag with your child’s name on.

Many thanks, Mrs Savage

All children in our class will be stars, with the exception of the child who is playing the role Mr Marzz and the child playing the role of Stella.

Mr Marzz requires a smart shirt and trousers with a set of Angel wings.

Stella will require a white t-shirt with dark bottoms the rest of her outfit will be provided by school.

Kind reagrds

Mrs Savage.

Advent Liturgy

Our fantastic Y3 class have made an Advent Liturgy video to share with all our families at home. We hope that families can watch it together on Sunday as it is the first Sunday of Advent.

I have uploaded this video to our google classroom for you and your family to share on Sunday.

God Bless

Class Christmas Cards

This year, due to the circumstances we are asking children not to bring in Christmas cards for their friends to be distributed in school this year.

We thought this could be a nice opportunity to do something different as a family, and donate money that would have been spent on cards to a charity or contribute to a reverse advent calendar.

We will have a reverse Advent calendar box in our class for donations to the St Wilfrid’s centre. These items will then be quarantined before being delivered.

Suggestions for donations can be found below:

felt tip pens, colouring pencils & mindfulness colouring books

Stationary, notebooks & puzzle books

luxury toiletries, hand cream & bar soaps

Biscuits, sweets & chocolates (wrapped)

tins of casseroles, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, pot noodles

Thank you all for your continued support.

Maths with Parents

Good afternoon, I hope this message finds you all well.

I have noticed that some children are not registered to our Maths with Parents class. It is so important that the whole class are registered and do these activities as homework to reinforce the learning we are doing in class. It will really help the children to secure their understanding of these concepts.

If you are not already registered please visit the Maths with Parents website and use our class code 264775 to assign your child to our class.

If you are having any trouble accessing Maths with Parents please contact me and I will look into this for you.

Kind regards

Mrs Savage.
